On March 14, 2018, 38 year old Black Brazilian politician Marielle Franco was assassinated for being brave, brilliant and bold. Today, Police in Rio de Janeiro are accusing her former colleagues for her murder. Marielle is the patron saint of Black women who are reprimanded for not keeping secrets.
